This week at HACIL

Date: October 2, 2013 Author: Crystal Categories: Information 3

Hello Families,

As we are starting to settle into the routine of enrichment days, I would like to clarify something. At the beginning of the day, students are asked to come into the building, put their things on the coat hangers/racks and proceed to the auditorium for morning assembly. At the end of the day, students are asked to collect their belongings and go to their specific room to await your arrival. Pre-K/K are to stay in their room with Miss Jana until picked up, 1 & 2 are to stay in their room with Miss Emily until picked up and all other classes 3-12 are to proceed to the Main Street Theater until picked up. If students have special arrangements such as walking/riding bikes home, early pick-up, or so on, they are asked to check with Jathan before leaving the premises. Safety is our major concern.

This process takes a little while to get used to so it has been understandably crazy for these first few weeks. We are now in October and this process should be getting easier but, it is not so far. Please help us out by discussing this process with your child before they come next time. This will help them know what  to do and where to go. Again, we are simply concerned about safety and hope to make things smoother for both you and them.

Thank you for your help in this matter. We love how much fun the students seem to be having and we want to continue to enable that with this little reminder.

Isn’t there a violin lesson going on right after classes in the Main Street Theater?

There are lessons in there but not right at 3:00. Group lessons start at about 3:45.

If you did not receive an email from Wonderful Life (Sara Thiry) with your personal access, then contact HACIL and we will get you that information. We would not want to publish the password here. Great question.
