White Wisconsin Chili

1 medium onion chopped
1 Tablespoon olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
2 cans chicken broth
2 cans great northern beans drained and rinsed
1 can white kidney beans (canelli beans) drained and rinsed
2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
4 cups cooked chicken cubed
Sour cream optional

In a large sauce pan saute the onions in oil until soft. Stir in the garlic and spices. Cook for 2 minutes. Add broth, chicken, and beans, simmer for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in cheese.
