Greetings to PreK and K parents!

Each week in music enrichment classes, the students explore music concepts and develop music skills through songs, games, poems, stories, movement, and playing instruments.  Their learning centers on a theme which is coordinated with activities in Miss Jana’s classroom.  This week (October 21 and 23) our theme is “Food.”  Students will hear the story of The Gigantic Turnip, sings songs about harvest, play instruments to accompany their story, and create their own visual re-telling of the story.  As always, there will lots of musical movement as well!  I hope we’ll also have time to sing that old favorite, “On Top of Spaghetti.”
