Last week in Assembly we talked a little about our TALENT SHOW!!!

Here is the rest:

Every spring, HACIL interrupts its regularly scheduled enrichment classes for our  –  Annual Talent Show.

The Talent Show event is our opportunity to perform and encourage each other in a larger group. Students have talents that span the range of drama, recitation, music, dance, film-making, and more. Really any performance art will do. Also, students are encouraged to bring and display their non-performance projects that show their passion for life. If you have a talent of some kind, please plan to perform or present on February 16th, starting at 9:00 am in the HACIL Assembly.

The day will be scheduled as follows:

  1. We will take the first 15-20 minutes to set-up and visit the different displays around the room.
  2. The show will begin. Please contact HACIL to arrange for your talent to be showcased.
  3. After all pre-arranged performances are complete, we will open the floor up to additional performances as time allows.
  4. PIZZA PARTY! HACIL enjoys arranging opportunities for students of all ages to interact. What better way than over food. Not just any food, PIZZA! Please let the HACIL office know how many plan to attend and eat so we will order enough for everyone.
  5. Early OUT… It will be a short afternoon. Students will be free to go after their PIZZA. If students wish to stay and play games for an additional time, Mr. Jathan will be in the building to arrange activities until 2:00pm.
  6. 9-12 grade as an optional FIELD TEST for their Survival class will have challenges and prizes during the afternoon (done by 2:00 if not before). Please contact the teacher to ensure your place in that challenge.

Please let HACIL know if you plan to participate in some way in this FUN event and how many people will be along for our Pizza count by February 9th.  We will be ordering the pizza ahead of time.
